Community Guidelines

Last updated October 18, 2026

These are the rules for everyone on the app, whether you are asking questions or answering them.

One account per person

Use your own account. Do not create accounts to get around a suspension, or to boost your own questions.

Ask, don't attack

A question can be blunt, but it must not be harassment. No targeted attacks on someone's looks, family, health, religion or identity.

No hate or threats

No hate speech, no threats of violence, and nothing that celebrates harm to another person.

Keep it safe for minors

No sexual content, and nothing that sexualizes or endangers minors.

No spam or scams

Do not flood a creator with the same question, do not use the app to advertise, and do not try to trick anyone out of money or personal details.

Respect privacy

Do not post anyone's private information, such as a home address, phone number, or the contents of private messages.

Be who you say you are

Do not impersonate another person or a public figure. A verified profile requires proving that you control the Instagram account you applied with.

If you are a creator answering

Answers are public too, and the same rules apply to them. A verified badge can be removed if you break them.

Reporting

Every question has a report option. Use it and we will review the question. Reporting in bad faith to silence someone is itself a violation.

What happens if you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is and how often it happens: the question is removed, you get a warning, or your account is suspended or deleted. Verified badges are revoked for serious or repeated violations.

Appeals

If you think we got it wrong, send us a message from the contact page and we will take another look.

Breaking these rules can cost you your account. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask us before you post it.
